Inspiring

There is such a wealth of great writing out there right now. Everyday I am finding so many articles and blog posts which really hit the mark. Here is one I read today, which I found particularly inspiring.

  1. Hello again from New York City. I've left you a comment over at your other site about my appreciation of your Edinburgh photos, but then thought to click over here to see what might have been said.

It is so very interesting to me to watch the evolution of opinions re Independence, as September does grow closer. I think I've read in some media spot that men are favoring independence more than women. Over here in the States, I'd say that men are more conservative, or in favor of their vested interests than in change. Or to put it another way, if you like the current situation, personal, public or even governmental, you might not want to change it.

If some of those areas don't really please you, and you feel in a place that grants you power to voice your opinion, you might want change. The current fracas over here about what some call The Affordable Health Care Act and what others call Obamacare, this opinion break down is stark. Some folks are bewitched by media opinionators and don't have the nerve to think the situation through.

Change is difficult. And yet we can look over our shoulders and see that it does take place, and become the new base for the next round of challengers.

Has this comment gotten too long? xo

  2. Thanks frances - I so appreciate you taking an interest in the referendum. Its true that there seems to be a gender divide, and there has been a lot of debate about that in the past week. There is an impression that the debate so far has been very combative and this is putting women off.
